Soren DeNiz (they/them) is a multi-faceted communication artist. They are based in Pittsburgh, PA, where they were born and raised by their Mexican parents. Soren prides themself in their Latinx heritage and their queer identity, and often those perspectives show up as themes in Soren's work.
Soren's vision when they create is based on the idea of "communication through the arts." They strive to connect with their community, whether through geography or identity, to build inclusive forms of creative expression and bridge gaps in communication.
While growing their professional career, Soren has both found and created opportunities to always push themselves and grow their creative process. Recently, that has included designing merchandise pro bono, being commissioned to write music for public radio, and registering their audio production company as an LLC to support fellow theater artists in expanding the art form.
